Salmon Reliquary

Created for the local "Salmon in the City" auction.

Wood, fiberglass, gold leaf, barbed wire, acrylics, copper, nails, salmon eggs, salmon bones, railroad spikes, ceramics, et cetera...

The symbolism is that of a religious reliquary (for remembering the things we martyr) and a television....for that disconnect of reality (an absence of responsibility for things played out beyond our immediate space).
